TUESDAY, MAY 30, 8:30am – 9:30am –

The issue of gender diversity and equity in the workplace has gained significant attention in recent years, and for good reason. Despite progress, women continue to face barriers to advancement and retention in many industries. In order to address these challenges, it is critical that employers take concrete steps to create a more equitable workplace.

This session will focus specifically on workplace policies and programs that can help employers address key challenge areas for gender diversity in the workplace. We will examine three critical areas that have a significant impact on the retention and advancement of women: leadership support, workplace culture, and benefits and accommodations.

Learn about concrete steps that can be taken to address these challenges, including strategies for promoting women into leadership roles, creating a supportive and inclusive workplace culture, and providing benefits and accommodations that support the needs of all employees.

By the end of this presentation, you will have a clearer understanding of the actions that can be taken to promote gender equity in the workplace and will be equipped with the tools and resources necessary to make meaningful progress towards a more equitable workplace.
