Ontario released its six principles for responsible AI use in January 2026. Canada's renewed AI Strategy is expected this year. Yet PwC Canada's February 2026 Trust in AI report found that 72% of organizations name responsible AI a top priority, while 36% have no dedicated governance function. This session provides executives with a practical framework for operationalizing AI governance amid fragmented regulation and accelerating deployment.
Key questions explored:
- How do we operationalize AI governance when regulation is fragmented and evolving?
- What does the Three Lines of Defence model look like applied to AI?
- How do we close the gap between policy statements and operational controls?
